We offer a range of private tours around Royal Windsor to suit all
schedules and tastes.
From full day tours that take in both Windsor and Eton, to an evening tour to work up an appetitive before dinner or a night at the theatre.

Windsor Guided Tours - Half Day Tour
10.00am - Meet tour group
Our guide will meet the tour group at an agreed location. This is usually at Windsor Station (Central or Riverside), a car park or hotel.
10-11.00 am Windsor Walking Tour
Our guide will take you on a short walking tour of Windsor taking in the crooked house, the Guildhall and the medieval streets of old Windsor town. Your fascinating tour will include wonderful tales of old Windsor, packed full of murders, mysteries and mayhem!
11-1.00 Visit Windsor Castle.
We are not allowed to 'guide' groups in the castle so as not to disturb other visitors, but our guides will accompany your group and answer your questions as they arise.
Handsets with excellent pre-recorded tours in many different languages are available and included in the Windsor Castle entrance price.
1.00- 1.30pm Lunch
2.00pm Windsor Riverside and Eton.
Our guide will accompany you on the short walk to the Windsor and Eton Thames riverside. Crossing the river takes you directly into Eton and a short walk to Eton College. If you have time we recommend taking an official guided tour of Eton College. This takes in the approximately 1 ¾ to 2 hours and would be ideal as a post-lunch activity. We are happy to advise you on how this can be organised.
The afternoon is then all yours to further explore Windsor and Eton and take advantage of the activities it has to offer. If you are stuck for ideas we always have some suggestions for ways to fill your afternoon and evening in Windsor.
Lunchtime tours
A lunchtime tour is just the thing to take a break from a day of shopping, refresh conference delegates, blow away the cobwebs after a long morning in the boardroom, or to work up an appetite before lunch.
This hour long tour will take you around the central sites of Windsor.
Evening Tours
Private guided walking tours of Windsor at night are an unusual and entertaining experience suitable for all.
After dark, once the castle gates have been shut and the hordes have headed home, Windsor's character changes. A hush descends over the old cobbled streets, the castle walls seem a little higher, the ancient stones appear darker and more brooding, and in the of stillness of dusk and the calm quiet of the evening, history itself seems to whisper that little bit louder.
Starting in the early evening we invite you to walk in the footsteps of Kings and Queens, discover Shakespeare's little townhouse, and hear some of the more unusual tales of bygone Windsor.
After an hour exploring the streets, our guide will escort you to a great pub or restaurant where you can enjoy the culture and hospitality of royal Windsor at your leisure.
A great choice for corporate entertainment or visitors on a tight schedule, Chris will take parties of any size up to 30 people for an hour long tour of Windsor town. Since this is a private tour, Chris can be very flexible to suit your preferences.
